Mod idea. (yes, I know this is the wrong place for it)
I've been playing Renegade for a while now, and I've been wanting to play it in a RTS style game. I came up with making a RA2-to-renegade mod. Like my ideas? _________________ "Banned" RP here QUICK_EDIT

Go for it man, because that would be awesome. But my advice is that maybe you could do a campaingn mode for it. If, however, you cannot do that in RA2, then go to skirmish. Good luck with that if you do it. Peace _________________ QUICK_EDIT
so start a new one anyway? and you missed a TONNE of nod units. stealth tank mobile artillery buggy apache attack helicopter comanche atack helicopter etc.
the concept for this sort of mod is so basic even if there are more than one of it you couldnt be accused of stealing the idea _________________ QUICK_EDIT

I have done most of the GDI vehicles, and some Nod ones
Some, not all. I only listed the ones that I've done.
I forgot about teh Comanche. Not sure if I will make it buildiable, and about the Apache, I'm on it.

All of the vehicles I made, personally*. The ONLY one that I might consider borrowing is Godwin's Nod Buggy. but that's just a small thought.

It's a lot diferent, the buildings look.. different.. cooler, I guess. I just feel like doing it. Also, you can get the voxels for a RA2-Renegade mod to look closer to the originals, in Renegade, than you can in TD.
Does anyone want me to take screenshots of the vehicles I made?

Actually Tyler, I think you need to explain the differences, 'cause whats-his-name doesn't know them. I mean, there quite obvious. Nods soldiers look way different on Renegade then TD. And were did the Black Hand come from? And the those laser rifles arn't in TD. _________________ Destroy to create. All for the hunt to dominate!
if you do it in RA2 then youll have to redo all the TS stuff like tiberium...it makes no sense doing it in RA2 when you have all that stuff in TS _________________ That acting was so bad I think you gave me Cancer...

Yo Tyler Adams, I understand you, some of the peole arent getting the right idea, but I have the same idea as you. I think the RA2-to-Renegade Mod would be great, cuz I love renegade, even the C&C Reborn Mod is a TS total conversio, but I think the RA2-To-Renegade Mod would be awesome. QUICK_EDIT

Why not offer to help out on the one that Yoshi has almost finished instead of making a new mod? He's already got much of the work done, and is doing the EXACT SAME THING.
I mean, really there aren't many units in Renegade, so how different from Yoshi's efforts would a new mod be anyway? QUICK_EDIT

Major, I never said it only take a two or three months. So far, I think I'd just have to modify the existing infantry in RA2, at least for a public release.
I'm also planning to make the SHPs myself, he just converted the 3D models to SHPs.
Yuri, three things,
1.You're in.
2. I can make voxels, and have made most of the GDI army.
3. I think this'd take longer than a month or two.

How will you make posible making of only one unit?
Of corse you can just play with alowed to start in multiplayer for every unit exept u can start only with one.
But how would you make more than 8 players-the game would be boring with maximum 8 players! _________________ DUNK! QUICK_EDIT
Gufu, it won't be a game without bases. You make your base, you build any vehicles you side owns, you then procede to beat the living hell out of the other side. Pretty much the same as RA2, just with the vehicles & buildings of Renegade.
I've also been toying around with having a limit of one on all structures, so as to only be able to make one base.

And if you create two similar entries (on weapons for example) with TibEd, the game suffers an IE. TibEd can't tell you that you've made a msitake, and it won't correct it either.
Considering it is supposed to help newbies and prevent silly ini errors, I'd say it has failed pretty badly. QUICK_EDIT
Now, what does anyone have to say on the limit of one for each building?
