Ok, modify the EMP. Make it spawn clouds of napalm, then have the animation A-10s swooping down & circling the target.


I'm not sure if this will work, but I came up with it some night when I had nothing better to do.

It would work presumably,but...

1:the A-10s HAVE TO fade in like the RoTD C-17.

2:EMP Has a limited range...

3:Wouldnt the Napalm spawn before the A-10s?

No. The problem with that is that you can build as many SAMs as you want, it won't even affect it. You have to be able to shoot down the planes.

Secondly, in mp airstrikes are just crate goodies. Can you get EMP from a crate?

Thirdly... in the campaign you get airstrikes from destroying all SAMs. Can you make a trigger in TS missions that gives you the EMP once all SAMs are destroyed?

1. Duh, I thought that was a given.

Hmmm... good point. Just a suggestion.

I'm not a modder like Reaperrr or Smiffgig; I don't think of these things.

EMP range can be altered to 255... so it's not a problem.

With SAMs... yes. With AGT's or Bazooka's... hell no. They get em down in seconds.

Here’s my idea....
What if you made the custom maps have Helipads just outside visual range of each player, and each helipad was placed behind the players starting local.
Then make the plane some how recruit able to both AI and Human players, and then make it so that if the A-10s are destroyed the game will auto rebuild them.
