I played them both. They were fun! I still have them and I think I'll start the games (.........again for the 3rd time both). I really like Jedi Academy! It's very cool, and the story isn't boring. I also like the job Lucas Arts done with Quake 3's engine. They both have the original music from SW. This is JA's site: http://www.lucasarts.com/products/jediacademy/index.html

I liked Jedi Academy for the Force Powers and the lightsabre options. However, Jedi Outcast was better for everything else.
LucasArts never made them, though. It was Raven Software who did (makers of virtually all major games based off the Quake 3 engine. They did SoF2, Elite Force, Jedi Knight...).

Oops. I meant Raven. JA is cool in the end too when you can choose your side. If ya choose the dark side, it's very hard. You have to fight Kyle Katarn who, you know, is a jedi master. It took me 3 hours to beat him. Of course I died 20 times #Tongue. The Force powers are awsom! I like to use healing and speed (and sometimes grip).

The key problem with JA was what you mentioned. You could spend the whole game being good and then decide to kill that bloke at the end meaning all your path down the light side was for nothing.

I said in the end you can choose your side. Better then nothing anyway. Lucas Arts promissed that in the game you can choose your side from the begining, but their promisses aren't always made.
