How do you get an object to go to a different voxel when it enters the water like the apc in TS? I tried and tried but I can't get it to switch to a different voxel!

The only thing with the apc was it had another voxel named apcw. which had no art or rules entry

It only works in TS, and it only works for a unit called APC. It's hardcoded to only accept APC and APCW.

That wouldn't work because it's a giant robot and I wanted it to look like it was wading though water

remove the APC and make a voxel called APC and one called APCW of your unit and stick them in an expand mix.

Now, what you are saying is that it is possible to do it in RA2? The voxel just has to be named APC and have and alternate named APCW? (Been meaning to do that with Land Carrier)

Yes but both voxels are hardcoded to be apc/apcw. :S i bet in the source code there is a tag for that.

AmphibiousAPC=APC
AmphibiousAPCAlt=APCW


probally something like that.

Thats impossible. But in TS, any amphibious unit with a turret, when in water, shows only a turret, without body.

which would look good in TS because it would look like the resdt of it is submerged. in RA2 it shows the tuuret and the the body. Hence the walk on water action!
