maybe, windows blinds works on windows 98 if i remember right, maybe there is a version that works with windows blinds?

Well, it would work on 98 too, if you use WindowBlinds (Shareware!). It should work without it, but you'll get only the colors and font styles.

actually it wont work for 98, Ive tried already. I dont even think WindowBlinds works for it either.

No, so far AlienWare hasn't made one for Linux, they might/might not make one for Linux. Not real sure yet.
