Where can I upload a site for free?

I'm starting to work on my site, but I don't know where to upload it. Can some one pls tell me a free website-hosting site? Exceptions: Freewebs and Geocities.

http://www.flywebs.com i have a account on it, its good it has ftp and about 100mb space but you have to login to you account every now and then to keep it active.

Well, if I register on http://www.flywebs.com, the link will be www.<mysitename>.flywebs.com. I want that ".flywebs" part to disapear. The only way I can do it is with a Redirection (redir for short). If you access the second link (without "flywebs"), you'll be redirected to the first link (the one with "flywebs").

Any other site pls ppl. I need more so I could compare them at the end.

There's a really great Search function at http://www.free-webhosts.com/ that lets you tell it what you want in a site, and it'll give you the best rated hosts on the web.

Webshots? I thought they give you hosting only for pictures.
