If you'r wondering why I was quiet for so long and now suddenly present 2 works (see my other thread), it's because I was working on the other stuff while waiting for this one to render. I render/work from college library PCs, and I can't just leave them on overnight, so I gotta attend them while they render, so I figured I'd work on those joke products.

Anyway, this finished today. My first character animation, hope you like it.

That's rather cool. My only complaint is the same as christophski's, but it's some nice work.

I'm not too fond of nude men, but I gotta admit that's pretty funny so long as it's in this topic Very Happy.

The movement isn't too real, eg:
His walk is quirky
His (left) hand simply ain't right when the cup goes down.
et al

But, in alot of hobby animation I've seen, the movement looks timid, incomplete, and the movements are minimal; they are 'realistic' in a sense, though. So my goal was to not have that noobish look. I guess you could even say a clay man's movement doesn't have to be similar to a flesh man's (but fingers still should not intersect handles).

This ain't the first time it's been suggested I add sound. Probably ain't the last either, unfortunately :-<. Bah... we'll see. I won't be animating till early next year anyway, probably. I'm thinking of working on a huge tank battle, I actually started this half a year ago but put it aside. It's procedural Very Happy.

It's funny, the thing that bugs me most is the thing noone notices: for exactly one frame you can see the hat make a hellish intersection with the floor.

But anyway, thanks alot for all the warm compliments.
