Interesting AvP2/GDI cross over
Still WIP but someone I know is making a skin for AvP2 in a GDI officer style, its not exact but so far its pretty nice
What you lot think, any opinions?

Yep, if I can find some good screens for the skinner to work from. I was dying to have a dabble myself and recreate the Conscript and GGI from the concept art but youd need to replace the multiplayer models and that means you cant actually use em on Multiplayer. This is a simple reskin so its usable.
Mmm, i think it might be cool to make a NOD one, perhaps a reskin for Kane...
But what improvements do you think it could use? The face is being overhauled to Havoc from Ren but what about the rest of the outfit? _________________ AI

I don't think that people in TS would wear things like that, considering how the world is. They'd probably wear a lot of armour and a suit of some sort to protect themselves from the surroundings. Saying that, an officer could possibly stay inside and away from the key battle areas. _________________

Yeah hes meant to be a GDI officer, I was trying to sort out something along the lines of the soldiers in the FS cutscene for GDI when you watch the crates from the pyramid be moved.

The arms are pale as we cant decide on the appropiatte texture yet
What you lot think for the scheme on his main jacket, should I make it a bit more yellow? And the pads on the legs, what colour you think I should go with? _________________ AI

Mmm, well, me and the skinner are thinking keep the arms rolled up and give him a tanned complexion. The face will be changing obviously.
Now, I need some idea for additions, colour scheme, what do you think so far? You like it? And the pouches, how can they be improved do you think? _________________ AI

Ok, well, this is a spin off from the human version, he decided to add a mutant version as well, so have a looksie. Also still far from complete.

Well one its a reskin not a remodel so I cant add a different weapon. Hell if you look at the firestorm FMV youll see they use a pulse rifle from aliens anyway, no joke.
Regarding tiberium on his skin etc; its a contast cliche' that they'll be covered in green crystals, this skin is more adherred to looking like a mutant evolution of a general officer and not the cheesy creatures TS seems to run with _________________ AI

He is kinda, the main torso design is based off the basic flak jacket design of avp2, we had to rework its colour scheme into something more temperate GDI looking. The lower trousers were schemed to be a version of the GDI officers from Renegade, however when we went with a gold colour for them, it looked pretty bad. We went with a monotone dark look for the trousers, with some small details, buckles etc etc.
The arms im disapointed in, as I wanted a plain black looking light mesh, the texture we used wasnt my ideal choice. But overall, it came out ok, and its very impressive watching him get face hugged and the blood splattering on the GDI emblem on his chest. _________________ AI
