Grand news from my lab. i have FINISHED FS 3.0,and i am onto my next project.(more about that below...) anyway,now that FS 3.0 is done,i am glad to celebrate. here is the link...

As you know..we have not had many PPM Plays events in a while. no,i did not forget. but it seems,attendence is lacking alot....nobody tells their comrades,or they just are too lazy to. anyway...i've begun work on a 'PPM Summer 2005' Map Pack,to amend this problem.(upon it's release,it should contain quite a few maps,all of which are converts of some leet RA2 maps,and the release of some map's i have kept on my HD,archived.) below is a picture of my favorite map,which,features Dynamic lighting.

Bah, I was hoping I'd be the only mod to release various RA2 maps with a mod.

Clazzy,i found out something neat,Urban,New Urban,Desert(and i assume lunar.) maps can be converted to TS. Very Happy so convert a city map. be original.

How so? I tried altering the theatre manually inside the map and that didn't work.

EDIT: Wait, I think I've sussed it, hold on.

EDIT 2: Well I tried my method on two desert maps, one crashed the game while the other worked fine (although I couldn't convert it to snow like I wanted without a lot of work).

you have to A:Delete ALL TERRAIN OBJECTS AND ALL OVERLAY NOT IN TS.(or nice crashieness in final sun.) B:Remove all/Replace all terrain peices not in TS. it doesnt cause crashes,but,you have to repair it in Final Sun anyway,so....

Terrain objects don't get copied across when you copy the whole map. What's the point in deleting them?

just delete them. i copy/pasted a map with some urban terrain objects and it crashed in Final Sun.
