I don't see any reason to change it. I mean, the world would be a better place if noone used it so much anyway, at least, not for its true meaning. Need I remind anyone that saying something is "G a y" is the same as saying something is a "Jew" or a "nigger?"

I think everyone will agree racism is a problem we need to get rid of. Homophobia is just as bad.

Jew isn't a swear word either, but most people will say that you shouldn't use it to describe something. Saying something's "g a y" is the same as saying something's a "jew." Is racism any worse than homophobia? That's like saying it's better to be a sexist than a racist. They're all bigotry, and all completely unnecessary. If you can't insult something without using a racist/sexist/homophobic word, then that's pretty sad.

I gotta admit I'm with Kane on this one, no-one should have to swear/insult/curse to get their point across. If its a point worth making it can be made without any bad-mouthing of anyone whatsoever.

I don't really have a problem with your basic swear words... I try to avoid using them (mainly because I like to use as many different insults as I can without relying too much on the usual ones Wink

) as much as possible, but I don't mind when other people use them. It's bigotry that bothers me. It's illogical, and if there's one thing I can't stand, it's something that irrational and illogical... And by frequently using racist/sexist/etc. words, you're continuing to go along with a global culture that emphasizes judging people by how different they are from you.
