From now on, we are announcing the scores. All maps starting from this one will be available at the Map Archived. Maps that scored above 75 points are automatically spotlighted. From the 12 valid maps, 9 scored 60 points or better, which was a nice percentage of 75% of good or great maps.

All the maps were rated by 5 judges (Clazzy, The DvD, Python, Wes and Lora (aka Carnotaurus)). However, we removed the best and the worst rate. So, the final valid score is an avarage of the 3 avarage rates.

Now, it's business time. The 9th place is the map Napaspan Muja submmited by Yitzu! Yitzu is now known as Super Mario and used to moderate the TS mapping forums at Tiberian Fields some months ago. He participated from the last OMC as Audjo. Before being Audjo, he was Skunky3D. Anyway, this time he had time to finish his map, but since the competition has improved with him, he couldn't beat the 9th that he got last time.

The map is a 5 players snow map, very detailed. He tried to tweak the lighting, however, the judges didn't like the inovation. The map is quite ballanced and fun. It was lucky to score exactly 60% and get a title of a good map, although it deserves, in my humble opinion. Here's the details:

Map Name: Nasaspan Muja
Author: Yitzu (aka Super Mario, Audjo, Skunky3D)
Site: Tiberian Fields (tibfields.com)
Best Rating On OMCs: 40.5% (OMC2)
Best Position On OMCs: 9th (OMC2)
Players: 5

Ratings:

Original Concept: 12.8%/20%
Ballance: 9.6/15%
Eye Candy: 14.8%/30%
Fun Factor: 13.6%/20%
Triggers: 10%/15%
-------------------------------------
Overall Score: 60.8%
Valid Score: 60.0%

Clazzy's Position: 8th - 63.0%
Wes.com's Position: 7th - 54.0%
The DVD's Position: 8th - 63.0%
Python's Position: 7th - 72.0%
Carnotaurus's Position: 9th - 52.0%
-------------------------------
Final Position: 9th

Download it and post your comments HERE. The zip file contains the map and a full information with rates, judge comments, mapper comment and documentation.

Also, today we are revealing who scored lower, so our current Tiberian Sun Ranking looks like this:

1st: ??????????? == ??.??%
2nd: ??????????? == ??.??%
3rd: ??????????? == ??.??%
4th: ??????????? == ??.??%
5th: ??????????? == ??.??%
6th: ??????????? == ??.??%
7th: ??????????? == ??.??%
8th: ??????????? == ??.??%
9th: Yitzu :: Nasaspan Muja == 60.00%
10th: Hk_31 :: (FS) Tiberian Future == 44.33%
11th: Sorrow :: The Ancient Legacy Of The Fallen One == 41.33%
12th: TIE Pilot :: The Mutant City == 15.16%

Tomorrow we'll be revealing the 8th place that can be Absturz, Aurora 196, GeckoYamori, Muldrake, Othalla, Tesla7zap, Willshire or Yuri's 2000 Clone. Good luck for everyone and enjoy Yitzu's map!

Well done, a brilliant effort. I honestly thought I was going to be next. Good luck for everyone who's remaining.

Are any of you judges susceptible to bribery? Laughing

You're wrong, DvD.

Audjo == Super Mario
Audjo != Metal Mario
Super Mario != Metal Mario
Greg Edwards == Metal Mario

Metal Mario doesn't visit TibFields as far as I know.

Ahhh okay. Well Audjo, you should have tested the lighting better! Eva Creek had the same problem.

*Stands up in little seat.* That should either be Japanese, or Spanish. Mothra can not confirm this, though!

Due to overusing the rather lame word Mothra and several other moronic things, you'll soon receive special verbal threatment by me personally. Stay tuned on MSN, cuz i'll be home in a few days.
