Idon't know if anyone have figured this out earlier, and posted it somewhere here in ppm, but here  is mine:

Deleting Overlay

This isn't realy a tutorial or smthin' like that; this is an advice:

I have noticed that there isn't realy a good way to delete overlay in finalsun coz the "delete objects"- thing doesn't work in overlays. So, i beginned to wonder how i could delete a rock that i have put into wrong place...? Then i just noticed that when i go to the "Set overlay manualy" and write there a number 255, i can delete overlay by that "invisible overlay". And there isn't anything at the place where i putted this "invisble overlay" in the game. So i think that's a way to delete overlays if u put them into wrong places.

(correct me if i'm wrong with this)

this won't work on bridges coz if u delete a peace of a bridge with this way u can still move ur troops on the "invisible overlay" (even if the bridge is broken)

There is an Erase Overlay bit specifically designed for deleting overlay. Did you never spot it?
