turretoffset combined with FLH does not work properly

if you take a look at the hover mlrs with it's turret firing sideways you will know what i am talking about( missiles still come from the center of the unit and not the turret )

FLH works in the direction a unit ( or turret if it is set to yes ) is facing
turretoffset does not move the position from where the the FLH is used, it only moves the visible turret and barrel.

does anyone know how to fix this annoying issue( except for having the turret and barreled centered in the middle )?

you just have to play around with FLH so thats perfect from all sides, nothing else to it.

you don't seem to understand the problem

let me re-explain

the FLH works from the CENTER of the vehicle in the direction the turret is facing( if it has turret set to yes )

turretoddset = -64 does not move the FLH the FLH still works from the center of the vehicle and not the visible center of the turret

Refresh my memory, is the FLH calculated from the exact center of the vehicle or from the 0,0,0 point of voxel bounds?

you tell me..... i think it is the centre of the unit istelf and not the voxel bound s centre.......
as i moved the body of my hover mlrs forward in the hva to make the turret location central in the hva and it works

I assume you are using OS HVA Builder and not old DMZ's HVA Edit? That's good, because OS HVA Builder auto-recalculates the bounds when you move the turret, while DMZ's tool works the turret's position into the HVA. OS HVA Builder's way is the correct one. Hence you actually edited the voxel bounds, which was precisely what I suggested Wink

Hmm, how do I kow all this stuff, while I have never made a single voxel in my life...
