And he finally updated the Generals site as well (about time!)! EA is really supporting the C&C 10th Anniversary. They've added the community agenda there and an interview with Louis Castle. Here's the email I've received few minutes ago:

"Hey guys,

Hope everyone has been enjoying the celebration of the C&C 10th Anniversary. If you did not know, I have sent massive prize packs to many community leaders around the C&C community to celebrate the anniversary, and most importantly to give back for all your hard work and show of support. Ladies and Gentleman, this is no conspiracy theory, otherwise I would not be the community manager for this amazing franchise. I am pushing with passion and heart to show support and will keep doing so. The little things go a long way. I have a special treat for you tonight. I have made a commemorative page on our Official Generals site to celebrate the 10th Anniversary. There is an exclusive Community interview with Louis Castle, Part 1 which is now live. Part 2 will go live after the Labor Day holiday weekend. These are the top questions from the top C&C leaders around, and Louis was more than happy to answer. Note that these questions are geared towards the history of C&C, it’s a great read, and I hope you enjoy it.

So, that's it... expect more goodies on Generals site soon, although he hasn't posted an updated news about it in the news part... the latest news is still the patch 1.03, which is old. Only the north american 1.04 patch is available in the site as well. But at least it now covers the C&C 10th Anniversary, which is a great step.

By the way, I'd like to confirm that if at least 2 more people submit an animation to the PPM Animation Contest 2, the winner gets a RA2 Collectors Edition that comes in this prize pack.

The left nav bar for the Renegade pages was broken a while back, so only if you bookmarked or used Google could you view the old pages and that includes the download links for tools and tutorials.

How long until they clear the old FTP content? =/

Well, in their efforts to update their site, they completely shut down all the other homepages (renegade, RA2, ect). Essentually, any WW made game never exsisted to them.

I'm responding it with a rant in the news and I've posted a news in the webbies as well. Hopefully, other webmasters will voice about it as well.

If we work together with them, they'll listen to us. If we simply rant and bitch blindly, we won't go anywhere. So, refusing sponsorship for OMC4 is definitelly a bad idea.
