hi, how do i add music to ra2 so that it plays ingame?

What does XWIS have to do with soundtracks?

You want the YRPM. Be sure to read the instructions too.

maybe i can help. it's a long way, but it worked for me.

first you need xxc mixer and xxc mix editor. you can find bout somewhere on this site.

1 open xxc mix editor and create a mix file.

2 put in the music tracks you want.

3 save it and make sure it is the ra2 directory.

4 close xxc mix editor and open xxc mixer.

5 search for the mix file you created.

6 right click on the music file and click on 'copy as wav', than as 'ima adpcm' or something like that.

7 than put the music files in the ra2 directory.

8 open xxc mixer and run the theme editor.

9 it wil say: ... themes writed to theme.ini

10 your music can now be played in ra2!

the reason because it has to such long way because ra2 requires a special wav file for ingame music. with xxc mixer you can change "normal" wave files in the one required for ra2
