UT2K4 Level (WiP)

I decided to try my hand at 3D level designing for a change. My first few attempts were utter crap Laughing

and not even playable. This one is turining out a bit better though and I want to see if i get any reactons or suggestions Very Happy

The skyboxes on either side are so that there can be a background texture seen through fissures in the wall, the clouds are just placeholder.
Since i made the central chamber to small to hold a staircase Embarassed

i have made a natural (looking) tunnel to a room with a ramp so that you can get onto the platforms again.

(please dont bitch about the pics quality etc)

apart from the sides of the big round platforms, you've made a good choice with textures, i like.
i just wish i had UT!!!!!!

what type of texture do you think would go better? I tried a 'warning' yellow&black stripe but it was crappy.

Making maps with UED sux. I prefer importing maps made in 3ds max.

@christophski the great: Why not downloading the demo and some maps? Or buy the game. Or download the iso (not recommended).

well i dont buy the game because i dont have enough to by a bass guitar effects box (anywhere between £60 - £400!!) and buy unreal. anyway i already have championship for xbox .

wp try something more fitting with the bottom of the platforms, maybe the smae texture just without bumps.
