Today's latest update shows some very impressive work by R-moremen. Over the last two weeks or so, he's been working hard on two new buildings. The Rocket Turret is The Order's low-tech and primary base defence. It fires barrages of missiles at the enemy, and is capable of downing enemy aircraft. It is weak to infantry and its range leaves much to be desired, but is perfectly capable of stopping a badly-done rush in its tracks.

Secondly, the Sensor Facility is The Order's primary form of radar. While giving access to the minimap, it also provides for a small sensor array that will detect cloaked or subterranean enemy units. It is slightly more expensive than the Iron Fist equivalent, and also uses more power, but is very useful in the long run.

I'm not quite sure if I mentioned it or not but Christophski also joined as a modeller for the mod, and has been quietly working on three of The Order's buildings, including the tech centre, barracks and war factory. All of these will be revealed in due course, after they've been completed of course.

Finally for today, I'll expand on what's being worked on. The core code of the mod is now complete, meaning that all units and structures are coded, save for balances and small tweaks. The current emphasis of my efforts is on improving the overall immersiveness of the mod. This means that tech buildings are being coded, civilian structures and units added and revamped, and triggers being added to some existing maps with cities to give the impression of life. More maps are being added as the weeks go by (the current map count is at 37) and contributions from members such as Rattuskid means that we have some new cameos. Since I haven't really shown many of them, here's a snippet:

They are the Pulsar, Rocket Turret and Brawler respectively.

I think that's all for now, I hope this quenches everyone's appetite for now.

Very impressive.
Those buildings are absolutely fantastic. I think we need to set up an R-more men fan-club, because he is just so good!
The cameos look great, and the coding is always important. Lets hope a new version won't be too far away now Very Happy

Good work with the buildings, but the Pulsar Cameo looks like it needs work, it looks like someone used MS paint to make the green beam.
