I also ran into problems in which my ally AIs would refuse to produce anything until they get attacked. I'm guessing it has to do with my AI editing on aimd file.

One more thing, AI can bypass prerequisite AFAIK so even if Nod doesn't have "GAWEAP" on its structures list, it can still build the unit.

Actually, when they exit, they just pop out as if they have just been teleported unlike in RA2 when you order a transport to eject its units inside, infantries will have to walk out.
