The Interview with Louis Castle.
The pod cast mentioned in the news below is now available. Louis Castle shows his love for Kane, Tiberian Sun and explain the differences between the 3 C&C universes (Tiberian, Red Alert and Generals), explaining how they were created, purposes and many curiosities.
Regarding The First Decade, there is no big news.
- IPX is supported.
- All C&C games in a DVD
- Alll C&C games running on XP (although you don't need TFD to have that ).
- Fan videos
- Behind the Scenes and other collectors edition features.
- Poster.
- No remastered sounds or musics.
- No resolution improved. According to Louis Castle, the fans want everything original... (and I was the one who wanted everything remastered and resolution improved).
Seems like a good offer for those who wanna collect their C&C collection, or are too lazy to switch CDs when playing the game. There are some Windows XP solutions available for free in the internet for those who wanna play the TD/C&C95 and RA1 on XP. Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 runs fine. On some cases, you may need the compatibility mode.
a verry informative interview, still i'm the biggest Kane fan of all, only thing that keeps me comming back for more.

He Talks a load of arse, 50/50 split in which title we would like to see next? Didnt EVERYONE consistantly say that they don't want to see another red alert?
and the guy asking questions keeps saying how the fans ask this and how the fans ask that, i don't remember us giving a crap which game he likes most, we want to know why the hell they made generals at all and how they are going to compensate for it.
also they keep refering to generals like C&C fans actually like Generals as a C&C game.
They started with Tiberian series (far future) and made 2 sequels
Then they made Red Alert series (far past) and made 2 sequels
Then Generals (~present time) but 1 sequel
if you take some logic into this, i'm afraid we will wait for another Generals sequel and THEN 3rd sequel to either Tiberian or Red Alert universe.
unfortunately i see on cnc den and simmiliar sites
that people scream for Red Alert 3 which could be
another bad news (and you know EA just wants money and dont give a flying ztype for old-school fans)...
if this will really BE, then i guess Twilight will come or in 2 years from now or never
altho i really dont see WHY they havent made it since we all saw it was already in development in year 2003...
they even couldn't improve graphics and resolution :E
I like original TD/RA1 but I get pretty sick of 640x480...
that is not good...
I want to buy this DVD-pack, but I need only TD and RA1 with all cinematics and music, and I think it will have VERY big price for it as it reaches Russia _________________

XWIS is full of idiot elitists who do the same attack every time, then when you finally do beat one of them, they scream rape and claim you cheated.
EA know even people who own all the C&C games already will buy the first decade; because so many people here would feel inadequate if they didn’t. EA are using this to their advantage and releasing exactly the same games AGAIN and taking us all for fools. The fact that the first decade won’t even have improved resolutions is disgusting.
