Attention! All defenders of the democracy and communism around the world, we have some important news to share: Yuri's brainwashing machine is using all its forces to command your money and conquer you!
First of all, according to their speaker tower placed in a apocalypse unit conquered by a psychic tower with codename APOC, The First Decade appears to be in the game in the top of one of their mind controlled list. What do we have to do with it? Nothing at all, except that by going there and clicking there, you just cooperate with the victory from the Yuri's mind controlled garbage at the top, throwing the other games in the grinder.
They've also activated their psychic beacon for about 54 minutes of fake holywood propaganda with two actors (Louis Castle and Mike Verdu) interviewed by a typical cowboy. They call it podcast and I call it... No. I don't call it anything, otherwise I'll get problems. Our intelligence has analysed the contents of the Yuri's propaganda, and they apparently are trying to mind control users to buy their massive Command & Conquer compilation and a greenish, infested product. However, this greenish product appears to not be tiberium. Just some elfish product that we prefer to not get into details here.
They've also announced the group of mind controlled people who submitted their movies to the wrong collective, errr, I mean, to their combat simulation compilation and became a part of C&C history. JohnWE, from C&C Files won with 2 movies. Also kudos to Puzzabug, Furax, Hexetic, Tchutch and Tesla7zap (with the movie Slaughter).
Finally, some democratic conspirators have spreaded lies out there, evil rumous that The First Decade doesn't fix IPX issues from Command & Conquer 95. Honestly, are you buying the evil's resource collection for IPX fix? Don't waste your money and get a fix HERE. However, (* suddenly gets strange signals in the brain *) we have to remind that this incredible compilation comes with all legendary Command & Conquer games in only one DVD, so you don't need to figure out where is your CD of Red Alert, or where have you left Firestorm CD... and it comes with a very nice interview with Louis Castle, great fan movies, a cool poster, behind the scenes things and...

You should change it from all C&C games to most.
Also, its not that it doesn't fix the issues, but in fact disables multiplay in C&C [b]and[/b] Red Alert. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

The RA button has been removed completely but a bit of editing of reslib.dll will probably yield results.
In fact, I'm sure if someone tries the original reslb.dll then it'll work. It'll at least re-enable the button, and I doubt that EA will have removed the LAN code altogether. If someone has the First Decade Pack try this:

Actually, just re-checking the news and your comment, I can conclude that I wasn't wrong to say that the package comes with all 'legendary C&C games'. Sole Survivor isn't legendary, at all.

I don't have much hope on that, but, with some pressure, specially from Planet CnC, they might release some patches for it.

My system now loads PPM quick and snappy so I can take the time to login and don't have to abort page loads midway through so I can get to posting ^_-
That APOC guy locked the thread of the people planning a lawsuit actually, and to a ton of complaints he replied "We're working on it, check my post!" actually. However, I think a formal boycott of this game would be great. If we can get enough of the community to just say "ztype this, we're not buying it-- and if we did, we're returning it" ... maybe, just maybe, EA will stop jerking us around. Even if we only get 200 members from each site to do this, and maybe only 1000 total, that's 1000 guaranteed units not-sold; and far more people (their friends) warned against it. QUICK_EDIT
This is a load. I've already been boycotting them since ZH. If it weren't for mods I would have uninstalled that. I was going to get TFD to get everything on 1 disc & for the 'extras' disc which I would appreciate if someone who has this posted everything that comes in the box & on the discs. If they fix everything & I do mean absolutely everything with patches I might buy it.

Something that frustrates me to the point of ripping my hair out:
If ANYONE from EA bothered to look at ANY C&C community forums, and if they did, if they gave a DAMN about the C&C fanbase, they'd stop doing all the crap they are pulling. This is solid proof that EA is nothing more than a worthless piece of shit. The fact that they made RA2 (which didn't suck, but it's not what anyone wanted, either), followed by Generals (which sucked, and I don't think anyone even BOUGHT it, much less wanted it), and now released this buggy nightmare, is proof to me that they don't know ANYTHING AT ALL about their loyal fanbase. If they don't know and don't care, why do they act like they know everything about us and care about us more than our mothers? They need to start supporting the community properly or let a fan support it *looks at Banshee*.
Banshee, is there any way at all to relay our mutual frustration and pissed-offness to EA? Perhaps through their propaganda mouth APOC?

I agree with geekspeak. If EA is gonna be stupid, Im sure fans could take over. Just look at C&C Reborn. Thats just awsome!! I severly doubt EA will come close to that for quite some time. QUICK_EDIT
It seems that EA is just going to continue to skrew c&c over more and more. I say we ditch any upcoming c&c and just go to PetroGlyph (if you dont know about them they are a whole bunch of ex-westwood guys who didn't want to be squished under EA's reign of tyrany and there making a new gaming company)Now dont get me wrong, I love c&c and have been wanting to see tiberian twilight since I beat firestorm but I just dont think that its going to be worth the dissapointment. EA just keeps messing everything up the first time and then franticly try to heave their ass out of the fire. If they want to change then they can just spent some extra time and effort to make their products work the way they are supposed to.
It seems severly doubtful they even tested TFG. Otherwise they would have noticed that the soviet campaign doesn't work.
Now that ive vented I feel much better.

EA is just a giant big carnivore that has no idea on how to make games, but instead uses it's influence to devour other games companies and use their ideas. They then slap a big EA sticker on it and hope for the best. They also have the exceedingly ANNOYING tactic of devouring a company that had just released a top notch fun game which gamers everywhere enjoy (and then screw it up somehow). It seems EA wants to keep us in the Dark Ages of gaming.
APOC seems a very reasonable guy, he's the only one that cares for us (and the C&C community) but all of this hate mail to EA is doing his name bad. I hate his bosses for this. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
