yes you can.but not all air unit can AA.

now i try to testing how limit shp work because i plan to change all vxl unit to shp.but i want to know all kind of unit can support to do this with out any big problem.[like cant create shadow on ground,standy animation cant work ect].

testing pic [orca interceptor shp] -- the Problem is cant create shadow and standby animation cant work

and i need some one who expert to codding art.ini to help me test it.

GDI Update
"Orca Buster"
the last GDI Air Unit is the Huge Gunship call "Orca Buster" it act as Orca Fighter+Bomber and powerful enough to blow up any unit on the ground.Orca Buster have Guide Missile to attack the enemy unit,it can launch 10 rockets per round! other than this it have the heavy bomb to destroy the building,however it can defense it self from air unit but you can protect it with orca interceptor. Wink

AWESOME! Looks like it uses lasers or railgun...i'm thinking it's Federation, since GDI has the uber unit already revealed (The Mammoth...) That logo also looks like an F and it fits the Federation's style, plus the text in blue, the Federation's main color...

Ok Update about GDI unit

GDI Battle Suit [ i have no idea for name yet ]
but ok it not tau crisis suit.(i accept it look very similar #Tongue )and i plan to add missile pod to it side it the future.

This battle suit is the most powerful GDI infantry unit. it equip Rail Gun as main weapon and rocket pod as secondary,it can fly when you deploy, but it'll have lower armor/firepower than stand on ground..bwt when it fly it'll have better attack range and move faster.. [i ask gamemate for this logic he said it can work.]

unit stat
- Armor 280L
- SPD 5/10
- Cost 1400
- ATK 150AG/40x2AA
- abilities:jet pack

sorry i already finish it animation,it have more 400 frames anim and i lazy to rerender it again.that mean this's the final design for it... and now it very possible to remove it jumpjet abilities because i have abit problem and cant solve it...

Lol, that's funny. Smile I'm the community manager for Vertex4, developers of SunAge. Stumbled across this and it made me laugh. Smile The funniest thing is how it's spelled "Faderation Couga" instead of "Federation Cougar"... why make it so close to the name but just change a couple characters? Smile

I wouldn't worry about getting sued, it's hardly a violation of copyright, nor even worth persuing if it was, for an immitation unit being used in a mod using self-made graphics. Smile It'd be even more acceptable if you posted a link to our site. Wink

I assume you decided not to go with the unit as your third faction seems to have taken a different direction (shame really).

dont worry i have plan to change all unit design of this side too,but that's when i finish my 3rd side. i can say i ripoff unit design from many game but doesnt meam all of unit i post here will 100% use.finally you'll see something original from my mod.

yes i dont want they ask me about legel too. #Tongue

about ROS Faderation design.
- most unit will have free style design,they mixed tank [the most],Hover,Mech but true power still be aircraft.
- their favorite tactics's Artillery and Aircraft. [like very-huge attack bomber]
- their archidtec will looking more like space-futuristic look [like starcraft,supreme commander]

now i work with concept art,that make sure i can bring some original for the mod because Fad is truely ROS own side it need alot of original unit design.

I don't mean to criticize OwnAge but I highly doubt that HolyMaster took the design or even the name from SunAge. While it does look to be an interesting game and I do intend on checking it out upon release, HolyMaster spelled it that way because english is not his first language. He always spells Fedeartion with an A and some other words he also consistently spells wrong. But this is all okay, because when it comes to graphics he is pure awesome. I know you said you didn't care but I just wanted to clarify because it seemed like an attack. There are some similarities in the design but then again it is just a 4-wheeled vehicle with a dual cannon on top which is pretty mundane. I apologize in advance if indeed the vehicle was lifted from SunAge.

hmm... i accept i took unit design from many game,

like Cabal Core Defender = Sc2 Colossus
and another unit from Faderation side,but i never said "it's my own design" oppossite i give info where's design i ripoff,that make ROS work nearly have no secret. [except some unit i want to keep it]

but finally i go back to use my own design because i know people will ment me about that in some day,
well ... now i plan to ripoff terran Thor Mech from SC2 but i'll try to modify if to make it look total different dont like my previous work.

now i cant say or update much because i have move my com from office to my house,there dont have internet i need 2-3 day to back online.

and sorry about my english.

I wouldn't worry about it, Holy Master. You're making a non-profit mod. You might have liked the design and copied it some, but you didn't steal their model and convert it.
I had never heard of the game before, and I suspect his comments were more to draw attention to it and it's coming release than his worry of simularities between your model and theirs.

While I know it's not, the screenshots gave me the instant impression of the game Diablo II's graphics style. I wonder what kind of modding support that game will have. It does look interesting except it looks like there are 4 types of resources you must gather. A bad move in my opinion, if that is correct.

Anyway, back on topic and please keep at this mod Holy Master, it's eagerly awaited by many!

Ok thank everyong for cheer. currently i know about sunage and look forward it for year too, there graphic and design is very impressive [i love 2D! RTS and post apoclaypse too Laughing ) . well back to topic.

soon i'll post some new of Faderation Unit , [ New design of Kaiser Tank , Sinbat Bomber ].

about Gameplay of Fad, player can make this side have different in own way,when you get techcenter you need to choose only 1 from 2 tactics [adv unit tree ] both tree will have different unit and style of play and sure different Uber unit.

1. Artillery Commander = Unlock another 4 adv Faderation Tank,most of them are longrange support include Kaiser tank and Uber Land Unit .

2. Aircraft Commander = Unlock another 3 adv Air Unit include Sinbat Bomber and Airstrike Tactical weapon and Air Uber Unit.

now you can see new version of faderation unit. they will have white color as main theme.about house color still in my consider.but i dont have plan to finish this side yet.

example of 2 unit at same position in different technology tree. if you choose 1 you cant use another. Rolling Eyes

Kaiser Tank
- Imagine Mammoth Tank with artillery module, Very Happy i add this unit because my friend who is Mammoth "Tank" Lover ask me for this. #Tongue
in normal mode it very similar mammoth tank [dual Plasmacannon+AA rocket] but it can deploy to use Plasma Artillery and show it real fire power.

Sinbat Bomber
- Biggest VTOL ever in ROS, it dont need to landing [balloon hover] and it can splash ton of rocket to bombard the enemy land unit in large area,but it cant defense it self from Air-Air Unit.
