I added a voxel to tiberian sun and it turned out purple/lime green/funky why is this? PS im using VXLSE III if that makes a difference.
Am i using the wrong colors? the only thing that turned out correct was the red i put on it.

K nvm i fixed it but i have another dilemma, my voxel apears several feet away from the select icon why is this?

ex, select icon ->[ ] my voxel->[ll] why?

Should simply be because of the size of the document you were working with i guess.

Sigh...
I suggest you to go SHPing instead of voxeling, at least, I did that. Voxeling takes looots of work. And normalizing is to tell the game how to light the voxels. You can do it by the included auto-normalizer, but then everyone thinks you made a mobile blackboard or table instead of a tank.

Please, go make SHP's.

Voxeling is easier than SHPing for certain, what you probably did wrong is use the wrong colours, as a rule you should Avoid using the first and last 15 colours, and NEVER EVER use colour number 0.

you've got wrong HVA settings. Check your voxel's Voxel Bounds with the HVA builder.

i always use autonormals, but instead of the new i use the old one, it looks much better for hollow voxel models. for the new one to work properly you should at least make 2 layers of voxels on the entire model
