*cough* UT SUUUUUCKS doesnt have SP worth playing. multiplayer has some rather interesting playing modes, but graphics havent improved much since UT2003, and weapons not at all. i wouldve killed myself had i actually paid for it. in many ways 2003 is even better than 2004! (and i have just the demo of 2003, imagine!!!!!)
only thing its good for is engine for Mods (though there anrent any C&C mods for it yet. (or are there?))

far cry is pretty good, but not too good. FC: Instincts rulez, but isnt available for PC. i dont play it cuz i dont have 360, but im gonna save for it =D

@SEAL: Acky probably plays tetris and packman, maybe space invaders. hes right about battlefield 2 though. its the worst game ever made (with the exception of sportsgames and sims games)

Unreal Tournament wasn't designed with single player in mind. It is there for multiplayer. The thing is, the bots for UT were miles ahead of their time and are pretty damn good (and the bots in UT2K4 are almost as good as humans, in my mind). Fantastic weapon design (flak cannon, Redeemer), good levels (Facing Worlds, Lava Giant, Morpheus, to name a few). Graphics aren't important in a game where it is just constant mayhem, UT2K3/4's graphics were pretty damn good for their time and still stand up against many modern games.

Oh, and my current most played game is called GridWar - http://www.incitti.com/Blitz/ (scroll down a bit to find it).
Fantastic fun, it's based off a mini game from Project Gotham 2 on the Xbox. If you have a dual analogue pad, it's miles more fun.

The original UT is definately my favourite, but i DO really like the onslaught mode in 2k4. The bots on godlike are certainly a challenge. I used to be able to beat them, but i have been playing far too many RTS games recently Smile

I dont have alot against BF2, i actually play it quite often, the main problem is how incredibly high resource it is, a FEW performance enhancments wouldnt have killed EA and the SAM sites are utterly useless against anything capable of shooting back, and there is no documentation that tells you how to adjust for bullet drop. and hey all the tanks only fire one type of shell and the anti tank class is unable to even scratch a MBT, but otherwise its good.

there certainly is, produced by pandemic, its in a big blue and orange box, the story isnt as good as BZ1 though.

I only got to the point where I found out there was a 10th shadow planet homeworld for the Scions..

I wish they released all of the good console games for PC; like the DOA series and Super Smash Brother Melee.
If only my PS2, XBOX and GameCube emulators (and roms) worked propperly (or at all even for some)...
At least I can play Super Smash Brothers 64 on my N64 emulator (Project64) Rolling Eyes

Perfect Dark was a direct sequel to Goldeneye (heck, it even included some of Goldeneye's weapons and multiplayer arenas!!), running on the same engine, just improved.
It's probably like RA2 is to TS...
PD's engine is advanced, but it's just not Goldeneye... that's why I didn't list it.

I don't know PD Zero at all, I also don't own a XBox so I could play it (is it released already?)

PD zero is for X360, how can't you know that one it was really overhyped.
Ah Goldeneye I have good memories of that one, it's probably one of the best shooters I played.

There are characters from Wasteland that are mentioned in Fallout, and the organization you are a part of in Wasteland is also mentioned. The worlds also share many similarities. Fountain of Dreams is a disturbingly prophetic game - not because of the story, but because it was the first time EA successfully ruined a sequel to an incredible game, foreshadowing events to come. EA both developed and published the game, making it the only game developed under the Wasteland/Fallout liscense without Interplay's name on the box. It is tedious, boring, boasts a ludicrously cheesy storyline, and despite being made four years after Wasteland, has the exact same graphics engine.
