ok, this makes me to feel very n00b, but I've tried myself many times, but I can't find an answer. Also, I know all unit/building functions already in INIs, but I ain't familiar with all weapons settings yet...

Q: how do I set the radius of the Ion Cannon blast in to something like, 3x3 TS cells. Don't tell me that it's spread, I've tried that tag already...

well, here we go..."closes eyes"

...IIRC there is a limit on 'teh' spread, and its not measured by cells as it is in ra2.

best bet is giving the ionblast anim some damage

Spread does work, but only to a maximum of 3 cells look at the orca bomber
warhead for an example.
