nice design, but i think it would be too imbalanced in the front for hover,
To fix that, you can try moving the propulsion devices closer to the front or placeing a third propulsion device (trubine, whatever the heck is the proper name) in the middle and closer to the front. to be stable, the generally require three of such device (non linear) to be stable, or one big one that take up a good portion.

The orca design has a (correct me if I am wrong) a big one in the center for lift off and hovering, then uses jets for moving. Pilots can then use the center trubine(whatever is the proper term) to exceute better maneuvers in the air for more sudden turns.

orca jet ..well i'll give you a tip i was a real airforce pilot so lisen up

the back will not work stright wings at the rear make the aircrat slow because at Mach 1 (thats 665 MPH ) the rear wings will rip off however if speed is what your after large engine intakes produce large amounts of thurst and lift also air bakes are needed on a harrier like aircraft like this for sudden stops or make the VOFL aircraft use engine breaks these cover the engines intakes to slow the aircaft down althought not very effective it may save the pilot and the aircaft from rocket attack look at the F111 for details

well thats just aircarft facts TerrorR

anyway most aircraft with one engine very rarely makes Mark 2 without afterburners (1024 MPH) "mostly only the lightest loads maybe four rockets pods ("ie MIG 21 is a short range fighter flying time of 2h-30 mins can reach mach2 for 30 mins max on full afterburn mosly to catch fast bomber at hight alitudes of 30,000 ft... a 10 miniute burn will get you to a max celing(35,000 in 15 mins at full speed")

mostly jets with one engine with afterbruning up travel at max of around mach 1.9 (920 MPH) thats damn fast ...ive been at that speed let me tell ya the plane starts to shake pretty bad at this speed

the harrier max speed mach 1.2 (720MPH) with full afterburn( small engine is very limited ) nozzile restrit airmovement making it slow than normal anyhow VOFL mosly tavel around 400 MPH not fast but it deosn't need to be.

most aircraft that rely on engies alone travel between 320 - 400Mph at max so like i said a harrier deosn't need the speed as much as other aircaft do

"mach" is the measurement above the speed of sound is measured when a object passes the sound barrier is around about 665 MPH (miles per hour)

"VOFL" Vertical take off 'and' landing
