Hey everyone, me back again with some questions. I have an idea in mind to make a new side with YR, and change this in an existing mod, (this is because im a newbie and dont now how to make the new superweapons rest of this mod isnt that great). i only have 3 sides on the moment now so, normally it's no problem to add a new side i gess.

But i don't know how to add new buildings with new looks, and i dont know how to make simply a new unit without copying an existing one.

yeah ok, my questions are pretty simple, can someone give me plz a litle guide or tutorial to make a new unit with a whole different look, movement, and this also for tank, building, and what i need to look add.

my problem i just how to do it, can't find a good guide @ internet and if i have did this 1 time i can do it more, its just i don't know how to start etc..

(want to make a side wich can make hesself invisible, gap generator that makes base invissible, how do f**k do you do this all)

i edit everything with xcc editor so no tibed for me, thats to easy for me, i want real knowledge about editing

i hope you all understand this big difficult question, and sry bout my bad english

greets robin

To edit the units' power, etc, read the INI files, they are fairly simple to understand.
To edit graphics, you'll want OS SHP Builder and VXLSE, available on this site's frontpage.
Reading the "Useful References" sticky at the top of this forum will also be useful.
To add new sides/countries, you will need RockPatch and its documentation.

Useful references, right up there.
Modenc- You will find everything there, but you wont know how to start. So. Get XCC Mixer, find rulesmd.ini in expandmd01.mix if you have YR with patch, and- trial and error. Search whole ini and mess up with that. Then search the net. Tutorials Vault here, Many tutorials on Revora, Deezire,C-Gen, old site Afterglow...

Hell, DCoder, this was supposed to be my reply! Laughing
