Ever heard of normals? They make it look correct ingame. go to
Tools-->autonormals-->Cubed autonormals.

If you dont everyone will get irritated.

I highly reccomend you do that..... now.

I'll normalize later,when it's completely finished,also I will work on the gray part, to make it a little better ,cuz it looks kinda big , maybe making some parts smaller and recoloring other will change this,I'll try it soon

Laughing hahaha ,btw what do those normals do??? I'm changing some things in the design to, the middle tail section has been made a little tinier, you can barely notice the size diference but it looks quite better like that . still not finished though,wanna change the gray area so it looks better . A little question : do I have to create a shadow for it ,and where ??

Euh you need more then normals in this case.
GIVE IT A PROPER TEXTURE!!!!!!!!!

yeah, I'll add some more details ,I gave the upper wings the same color as under , also ,I'm gonna give the gray "Y" another color, or only parts of it to give it another feel, btw what are those normals you'r talking about?!??!?!?!?!?????????!!?!?!??!?!?!

It is a tool that smooths the voxels and makes them look nicer.

I still remember when you asked Pain in the *SS questions about normals. It took you longer to understand it then K212.
So stop your "Oh look at me I now what normals are, so I can be pissed at people who don't know" attitude

I just wanted to know EXACTLY how did they change the units, and U told how to do it,so thx for that, I just wanted to know what did cuz I was afraid it might completely mess up my voxel.

anyway,I'm making some improvements, I'm just gonna change 2 or 3 more things, than I'll use those normals and post a final image

Normals=makes the colour for the voxels. Without normalaizing, your unit would appear black ingame, or at least, with horrible colours.

the thing you need to improve on your vxl, is to not just use the basic colours, some texturing. So use not only one colour shade, but the others also.

STILL HAVE THIS PROBLEM : HOW DO I MAKE AN HVA FOR IT ?? i've looked for a nice program and tutorial on the internet and nothing usefull , NOTHING!! it's driving me insana grr..

btw I used normals and I'm stunned !!! cooool!!! hehe,still have to fix that weird middle tail piece though, I'll come up with something

and YES; it's supposed to be some kind of banshee-ish aircraft

HVA editor. open voxel, press "Save" and exit. the HVA is now alongside the VXL

CAN ANYBODY PLEASE HELP ??

I've tried to put it in tibsun,but it failed, I dunno why
I'll post everything here,maybe someone can help

what I did :

I've put hva and the vxl file into local.mix , within tibsun.mix
I've added rules.ini in the tibsun directory and added this :
added it in this list ;

8=ORCA
9=TEST

copied the banshee completely, just changed this :
; NEW
[TEST]
Image=test
Name=myvox
Prerequisite=NAHPAD
...

than finally, I added this to art.ini,and added the ini to the game directory aswell ;

[TEST]
Cameo=PROICON
Voxel=yes
PrimaryFireFLH=0,32,0

(I copied it just after [SCRIN] ,so it's on the right place)

I'll put the vxl and the hva here, so someone can take a look at it and might be able to help me

btw, a question , where are the weapons anim, for example proton??

in my opinion they might just be a little too smooth, but might be good as a stealth plane, and anyway I'll try to fix it

anyway ,it might be a little big, but if you compare an orca bomber with an orca fighter, or a a wolverine with a mommoth MKII ,you'll have just the same thing,anyway, I'll give it it's own helipad, cuz the other one might look a little too small

But I can say - and I think everybody will agree with me on that - that it has improved a lot ; biiiiiiiig change

hey, that kicks ass! it looks very good ingame. Btw, have you already checked it in a snow map? cause, if it has colours 1-15 and/or 240-255 of the UNITEM pallete, it may turn into pink ingame, in snow maps. Also, I think you should work with the remap, try other colours options, not just the one...it looks dumb right now.
