They said it's an ecological cancer that turns everything it touches into more tiberium. Don't you understand! They're getting rid of the whole mutation era! Now it'll just replace stuff, metal'll turn green... Gah... QUICK_EDIT
So if it can why not the tiberium atk the harvester :S ?
( nvm )
But if it can it so why the tiberium not grow over the world and posion the air and like that and the earth will lose becouse the tiberium grown on every thing :S? _________________ Can you hide from me ? QUICK_EDIT
Tiberium can't do that. It's never done that, and it sure as hell never will. At the most it should have a corrosive effect on lesser metals, or grow on it. QUICK_EDIT
I'm enjoying the looks of this...Lets hope it remains...It truely shows the extent of what Tiberium is MENT to do...
Absorb metallics, absorb other precious items, and convert to Tiberium Crystals...So far EA has held to that...but the Brown base....THANK GOD thats gone...I hate that brown base...it kinda didn't look good in my opinion. _________________ ... QUICK_EDIT
About the harvester. I imagine it takes the tiberium a while to actually mutate something - so the short time the harvester stays in the field won't affect it much.
Tiberium is a PLANT! The crystals are like leaves. It sucks up nutrients and precious minerals through it's roots, as displayed in TD.
The problems with EA's TIB:
1) Not pointy, blunt like an emerald
2) Huge and sparse, no longer can I refer to clusters as 'fields'
3) No organic material, just the 'leaves'.
4) New definition, IE: 'cancer', tiberium does not spread as a virus or germs, but as spores, confirming the plant origin.
5) Colour, no longer bright green, more like, as I said, an emerald with a light at the base.
I cant wait to see the trees... If they exist... _________________

Different Harvestable Tiberium Types (DHTT!) FTW!:
1. Tiberium Vinifera:
These huge crystals, have evolved and are growing out of the ground, with all that it needs to spread or start being the acidic liquid Tiberium form. Blue forms (having absorbed higher nutrients) have never been seen again since shortly after Operation: Lazarus (TS:FS)...It can grow on anything, even creatures.
2. Tiberium Veins:
These veins are useful for creating strong chemicals to use as a weapon against the enemy. Nod harvests it for use in a chemical missile. Has only one orange form. Spreads from a mouth/veinhole monster.
3. Classic Tiberium:
This is the original form of Tiberium, it spreads over like a plant, it can mutate anything alive to evolve it into a Tiberium-based life-form version of it. It has blue and green forms, the blue form being the one that absorbed higher nutrients. This type of tiberium grows slowly by itself, but spreads fast with a mutated tree...The blue form is highly explosive and toxiec, while the green one being highly mutagenic.
How's that sound? This way, everyone's happy! We have the original Tiberium back, and we have that cool-looking new one! Problem Solved, guys! EA should follow this idea... QUICK_EDIT
1: Vinifera was never harvestable. If you're saying that the tib in the screens are vinifera, why are there so many, and why does the harvester seem to be collecting it?
2: We haven't seen any veins as yet.
3: If our fears are well founded, then the huge emerald gems on the screenshot are the new and improved 'classic tiberium'.
Doesn't sound too good to me.... _________________
