its a polygon thats been extruded to make a hole. Its supposed to be there. The turrets will come later right now Im worried about details and the 128mm flak 40 will come later.

Those were 4 (?) Flak Towers used to defend Vienna during the second world war...

umm... why would you bother making the Silverbird, it flys outside of earths atmosphere so it’s not like you would be able too see it on a battlefield. That’s like making the GDI Ion cannon a buildable unit Rolling Eyes

I thought of first making the Sanger-Silbervogel a clone of the spyplane superweapon using rockpatch so that the sanger silverbird will strike as its already in the atmosphere. The good thing about my sanger silverbird model is that its less than 300 polys which is quite an achievement for me Smile

in your opinion should i adopt a black fuselage or grey/whitish fuselage ?

and this is the experimental skinned model which i am experimenting with (YAY FIRST SKINNING MODEL DONE) and I know the skin and the luftwaffe marking suck but im working on it I just wanted to see if I can skin Smile

The Silverbird is only in earth’s atmosphere when it takes off & lands so in my opinion you shouldn’t even bother making it. If you really do want to add it them just make a superweapon where you see a bomb fall from the sky cos that's all you would really see.

Im no expert on rendering nor on "miltiary research" but i do have a logical mind, and the way you are going about doing these renders it totally wrong. You need to create the basic outline shape first before worrying about the "detail" anyone would tell you that. Say if you are creating a vxl you don't put in the detail as you build the bloody chassie do you? No you do that afterwards

So might i suggest that you take my advice and just do the basics first then concentrate on detail later. Actually make them look like a simple form on what they are suppose to be rather then a Water Tower with holes and box with wings :p
