Yuri's Flying Disc

I've been thinking about UFOs a bit, and brought up a theory about where the Flying Disc really came from...I can prove that the Flying Disc is not a sci-fi unit.

1st of all, the UFO was an aircraft right? Well, i've been thinking, what if it was a US army unit? This vehicle was meant to be the first VTOL maybe. It would act as a small, fast and versatile recon unit, it would also be harder to detect than normal aircraft. The Engine would've been something like the TD orca's VTOL engine. (but with 1 engine under the aircraft instead of 2 on the sides...)

Remember Tiberian Sun? When Vega crashed the Nod Scrin Ship? That was a prototype vessel, and what about the UFO, errr...Flying Disc? Maybe that one in Roswell was just a myth, or maybe it was a prototype flying test? They were testing it, but encountered some flight errors and ended up crashing the prototype recon aircraft? Also, maybe Area 51 was just a test site for new weapons, including the US Flying Disc?

Maybe Yuri managed to complete the aircraft design himself (and also add lasers to it), due to some alternations in the time period at the end of WW1?

There is also a rumour that Hitler was testing Flying Discs , but i'm not too sure.
