Revora Cameo Competition Week 1 Reminder.
Subject description: Submit your cameo until July 17th!
Just a quick reminder that for those who want to participate from the Revora Cameo Competition is that you still have about 3 weeks left finish your submission.
So far, the prize stands for recognition on both Revora and PPM communities and, maybe, a custom rank at PPM if you don't have one. Also, there is a good chance tha SoapBath, from PureCnC will also provide $25 US Dollars for the winner. Twenty Five dollars for a cameo is a great reward, isn't it?
Anyway, here's a little tip for you, in your journey to get these 25 dollars:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
While OS SHP Builder isn't the best tool for image effects, it can assemble the elite icon, make text, borders and few other effects with ease.
Prepare your custom background with photoshop, gimp or similar. Using one of the OS SHP Builder backgrounds may cut some of your orignality related points. Make sure it's 60x48 (for Ra2) or 64x48 for TS. Prepare your unit picture, also with one of these 3rd party image editing programs with all effects needed. Make sure the unit facing follows the default of the game. Save it also with 60x48 (for RA2) or 64x48 (for TS).
Import your unit on OS SHP Builder (File -> Import Image as SHP). Optimize it to the cameo of your game. Use Infurium as Colour Conversion Method, afterall you may want the best quality for it. Make sure that the SHP Type is set to Cameo. Once imported, open the cameo generator. If you are doing a RA2 cameo, choose Kravvitz 2. For TS, choose TS. Import your custom background. Make sure the side fits your purpose. Allied is blue, Soviet is red, Yuri is purple, GDI is gold, Nod is the one closet to grey. Once you hit OK, save your cameo and good luck.
We always recommend you to test it ingame.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The next tips will show you how to do that and also, some image effects to give extra coolness to your unit. Stay tuned! QUICK_EDIT

I'm not just "one of the judges"
Appologies for the inconvenience, 24th of July is FINAL deadline, and I (unofficially) hope to have a winner announced by the following weekend.
Also, what is your email, SoapBath? _________________
