How can i make the Self heal and self repair in RA2 as in YR when you capture hospital\machine shop?

Not possible on RA2, because the codes are added on YR.

Duh...

I meant to ask if it possible to copy them and place in ra2 - making this effect work in ra2 either.

No such thing impossible.
With enough knowlage and resources we can make a total conversation for ra2 into YR.

I only want to add those codes.
Is it possible to add those codes into ini files? Or I need to edit ather files?

You'd need a hell of a lot of exe hacking - which isn't worth the effort. Just go buy Yuri's Revenge. Rolling Eyes

Theres a reason why it is called Yuri's Revenge Rolling Eyes what good is it if you just turn Yuri's into another boring RA2 clone?

It was an example! I only want to add this effect of self healing and repairing.

try to hack the YR exe so it'll work as the RA one, or the RA one to have the same functions as the YR one. you're choice. no other way. i reapeat: NO OTHER WAY (well, maybe map triggers...)

Though about making a building "defence" giving it healing weapon which will shoot on my units with large distance. Is it possible?

That sounds interesting... you should try it.. find the tutorial what helps you to make mechanic/vehicle repair infantry, that would help you a bit...

Chances are good that you'll get an IE. Ever try to make a repair IFV also heal infantry?

1 problem here, guys. if you get it to work without any IE´s, it still only heals 1 unit at a time.

How does the repair IFV / TS Medic do it? Simple, negative Damage + positive Verses triggers this logic. But it has its own drawbacks.

building doesn't work because of the nature of defense logic

it would work but it would just shoot enemy units too and i tried loads of tags to prevent passive acquire.

also avpx if you YR mod that engine itself, its pratically near identical and stop you from asking stupid questions like you do on every forum i see you on
