Started creating shp's only today without any tutorial.
I've created a building (attached) and placed it in the game. But the image of this building, inside the game was corrupt.

Photoshop > PCX [Convertion with XCC mixer]> SHP [corrupt image]
SHP [corrupt image] > shp builder > new SHP [Still corurpt image].

I found that the pallete which will show the building as it shold be is "cameo.pal". Changed it and saved, still - corrupt image.

What should i do?

Changing the palette does not convert the palette. You have to convert the palette (on OS SHP Builder) on these cases or change it back unittem.pal in your Photoshop.

Solved this problem with the help of Banshee [tnx].

But got another one.
I have seperate frames on my computer which i want to get into one shp anim. How can i get those in one shp file togather?

-the xxx 0000.jpg\tga\etc.
way doesn't work - its taking those 2 frames and creating one frame not an anim.

-though of adding the frame seperately into shp builder but can find nothing to do this.

tnx.

OS SHP Builder works right, however, some options may not be good for you. Make sure Optimize Shadows is not checked. Also, in the importer, make sure that View Only The First File of the package is checked. So, once you select the xxx 0000.jpg, it will read it as frame 1 and 0001, 0002, 0003, etc... will come as the following frames. For more help on the import, check the Help file. It includes a complete documentation on it.

Now its a naming problem.
I've named my file UND 0000.pcx
the second frame is UND 0001.pcx
but SHP builder cant see the second one, tried to check if its the problem in the program - tried to convert it with the help of xcc mixer but getting the same error - invalid file name, while thje first one is ok.

___________
If i understood right, i should open the frames one by one in SHP builder, because they have numeric endings they will be taken into one anim?

When you try to open the UND 0000.pcx with View Only The First File of the package checked, you will only see UND 0000.pcx over there. Select it. Under the range area, you'll see that it has more than one frame in the range.

By the way, do not use PCX files with OS SHP Builder
