*Begin Update*

Finished and available for download in the voxel forum if anyones interested. Smile

Cheers,

Rebelmoon

*End Update*

*Begin UpDate*

Thanks all, appreciate the comments. Smile

I've made a wider version here. (Pics Below) I widened the body as well as the tracks. And when I say I widened it, I didn't use the header cheat. The voxel has actually been widened. The texture is a work in progress. As far as which one looks better, I'm torn. I like them both. #Tongue

I think I'll put both ingame at the same time and play it for a while. See which one grows on me more. lol

*End Update*

Here is my Mammoth Tank based on the images of the CnC3 Mammoth.

Needs colors/texturing & remaps to fit ingame.

What do you think?

Cheers,

Rebelmoon

Ingames?

But it doesn't look too bad. You could do some work on the body itself - it looks too thin now and not as massive as it should. But it's a good attempt.

The width or "mass" is where I get unsure of which is correct. Below is an ingame pic. Remember, it hasn't been textured for ingame.

Anyway, below the ingame pic is a composite of some of the images I have been going by. Correct me if I'm wrong, but 3 are what I believe to be actually screenshots or at least renders of what the unit might actually look like ingame. The other one, the wider or more "massive" is from the trailer. The 1st looks thinner to me.

Cheers,

Rebelmoon

The one from the trailer is the redesigned one, and is more current than the one with the barrels above the turret.
In either case, I think the main body (Not the treads themselves) could be a bit wider.

i think it's really a good job. never mind if it's not accurate; it looks very nice. don't touch it anymore or you may ruin it.

you guys can't ask him to change the proportions because he did not make it as a 3d model first so changing something like that would raise hell. i wish i could see what kind of work you could do with 3d modelling.

that mammoth tank voxel should be renamed: OBLITERATOR. or FINAL WORD or APOCALYPSE (oops already taken Confused ) It's awesome! it's wicked! it rules! Very Happy
it looks 10 times more devastating than a lowly original mammoth tanks too!
The details look great. The skin fits it. now that is a voxel that deserves these kind of stats:

[UBERTANK]
Name=Uber Super Duper Tank
Armor=Heaviest there is
Strength=4575
Primary=180mm2x
Secondary=MLRS mammoth tusks
TechLevel=20
Cost=6000
ROT=3
Speed=4
etc.....

nice job!!! Smile

In some of the concepts, it has 4 cannons... Newer ones I think.
