I'm still amazed about the lack of gas masks. EA said they're immune to the effects of tiberium. How come? did they forgot that Tiberium "secretes" deadly gas? _________________
Yeah, very strange, they won't be pulling alot of legs then, if they changed their faces, and their armour to mucky grayish and rusty then they could be mutant soldiers! _________________ My name is Shadow... I am Lord of the Shadows! NOD rules!!!!

That's a good point. Also, being GDI... the heroes side, etc... why is there a skull head on Zone Trooper's helmet? QUICK_EDIT
Meh, that's probably just something the soldiers painted on it for fun, just like the Tiger face on the Orca (FMV) and 'F*ck' on Napalm bombers in Vietnam. But even then, you're right, it's rather odd.
About the lack of a gas-mask, it doesn't make any sense. They may be heavily armored, but tiberium will still affect it. They have this nice well-paid MIT explanation, but I can clearly see conflicts. Tiberium suddenly changes everything (no exceptions) it touches into more tiberium eh? Then why won't our Terran marines... Sorry, I mean zone troopers and tanks be affected? Is there some weird alloy that prevents tiberium from 'knocking off' particles? Don't think so. Wouldn't really make sence unless they explain it with another fat MIT story. The Hazmat trooper in Renegade made much more sense. But, of course, tiberium worked differently in anything pre-Generals 2... I mean C&C3. Only an energy barrier (because tiberium cannot knock off particles like it does with normal matter) would provide enough protection from the 'cancer' effect. QUICK_EDIT

Chem Warrior? You mean in TD...Dude. Chemmy was around since CC95, Not Renegade. In Ren he just got the most ztyping obvious head in the game which screams 'SHOOT ME'. And banshee, yea, its just like the nude chicks on WWII bombers, and soldiers putting 'BORN TO KILL' on helmets. Nothing fancy.
Besides, WHO CARES about ztyping gas masks on these guys? TD's Chemmy had them, nobody noticed them('Cept Nyerguds probably.) Its a RTS! NOT A FPS! Jesus. Titans didnt have smoke grenade tubes on the SHPs in TS and nobody didnt make posts going 'OMG NO SMOKE GREN TOOBS!!1'. We're being overly critical of something we wont even see ingame... _________________ PPM's Reichstrollfuherer, 236th Trollenparties brigade. QUICK_EDIT

Bansh, ever played Renegade? The Dead-6 logo was a blue skull... QUICK_EDIT

Well actually its all to do with TD and TS, in TS the ony forces that didn't have gas masks on them were mutants, civilians and Cyborgs, who don't breath.
And TW is set a few years in the future of TS, with tiberium getting stronger and stronger there is no way anybody could survive without their gas masks on! Unless they are in the blues zones, but if then you could only get Zone Troopers in the blue zones and not in Yellow or Red!
Or it just doesn't make sense! EA had better give them gas masks or anyother protective facial wear or its just not going to cut it! _________________ My name is Shadow... I am Lord of the Shadows! NOD rules!!!!

Hence the name 'Dead'. Except that a Zone Trooper isn't necessarily a special squad team. Anyway, Carnotaurus and TitanMark words are enough about it. QUICK_EDIT
