To extend it:
Stability is the same.
pre-1.47 Mixers can only insert 22 kHz mono WAVs (at PCM, only 16 bit), 1.47 allows any frequency and 8-bit PCM too.
Also the PNG support.

Why would anyone need to? Just use the program and find out. The biggest issues I had were converting PNGs and TS Map Previews, these now work fine in the new version. I don't think I've come across any issues at all TBH, certainly nothing like the older versions.

I love how everyone's complaining about the Mixer alone when my archive contains everything else beyond the Mixer. Nice job, you morons. I was providing the entire package, not the just Mixer. You people need to pay more attention.

Half of those tools are already useless, due to Ares incompat. And Mixer can also do mix editing. I dunno I haven't used any XCC tool except Mixer (and builtins) for years now.

I also like the fact that everybody who disagrees with you no matter how, is either a tool, a retard, a fucktard, a moron, an idiot, a jerk or something similar.

also, wtf Modsalot. Yes, there are times when I disagree with Bansh's style of admining, but honestly I doubt he made that wrong choices. IMO there's no need for another admin, since most places already have a huge amount of moderators.

Some of us still mod plain Red Alert 2 and the XCC Mod Launcher is perfect for that and some of us do still have projects that don't use Ares or NPatch so your point is tenuous at best. Stop pretending like you're the all knowing god of projects and do a little thinking next time.

In cases like this especially. If it sat pinned for years without a complaint, it's pretty silly to start complaining now. I find this whole charade ridiculous because a few of us might prefer older versions to newer ones. And should someone else desire the old version, it should be readily available like other pieces of software.

Well you could always just add the link to that "useful resources" topic mentioned that they are old and outdated software for interest only. That way there's not a whole topic advertising XCC software that is now outdated.

There is a lengthy reply regarding this "no u" type of "argumentation" in the split thread.

Since his royal highness has already declared he's not gonna re-pin the thread no matter what, and since the opposition has started yet another pointless debate based on false information and bullshit in the split thread, there's no point trying to explain the stupidity of this decision in here any longer.

I recently "forced" to download 1.47 because MBAM detect "falsely" 1.46 XCC Mixer.exe as trojan. Unfortunately the MIX editor from launch menu not avaiable. I hope next version will put it again.

You don't even need the MIX Editor... XCC Mixer can already create MIX files itself and also insert files into it and compact it. Additionally XCC Mixer is also far less likely to corrupt a mix file after compacting or adding files to it, while with XCC MIX Editor this was nothing out of the ordinary.
