Denmon** commented that the original Achron's barrel looked like sh!t. He's right.. Confused it was too plain and haphazardly done so I looked over modern MBTs and decided that a long ornate barrel like the Challenger II looked tons better than just a straight barrel like old tanks. I expanded the chassis too and added some ERA on the topside Smile

Overview:
Name=IVI SPAFV-24b Achron Mk2
Producer=Isserel Xiang Tze Wu Vehicle Industries
For=GDI, other blue zone countries who can afford it
Powerplant="Sin Fung" Self Contained Mini Cold Fusion Reactor (Generates 2500 hp), "Chow Hai" auxillary powerplant (for sinusoidal magnetic field induced shield purposes)
Armaments=1x 120mm Mass Driver, 1x old M60 m.gun (but with depleted 0.50cal uranium warheads), 2x 8canister smoke grenade dischargers
Max Speed= 65mph on road, 50mph on conter, 45mph on rough

The original IVI SPAFV-24 Achron had a very high assessment among GDI generals. with a 120mm magnetic mass driver powered by a cold fusion reactor, shells and APFSDS rounds were propelled with stunning power. The Achron can traverse extremely rough terrain common in orange zones (yellow zones in transition to red zones) as well as red zones. The Achron can climb steep gradients of up to 50 degrees provided that it is equipped with non-slip tracks and movement is continous.

the Achron however exhibited several problems regarding it's powerplant. During intense combat with IVI made light tanks for Nod, the Achrons often were disabled because of power failure. Being hit with so many mass driven shells stressed the shield generating powerplant and when tank commanders shifted the power to maximum shield maintenance, SPAFV-24 Achrons shut down to avoid stressing the cold fusion reactor too much and risk internal damage.

GDI contacted IVI to improve on the SPAFV-24 production lines. all current SPAFV-24s in production then were halted and improvements were designed. The solution was the auxillary "Chow Hai" (literally: Straw Sandals) powerplant outfitted with the IVI MRP-T12b Scarab for Nod. the addtition of the Chow Hai reactor increased production costs even more for the already expensive SPAFV-24 but the main powerplant now worked with total efficiency that combat performance improved even more.

Pros:
Same as before but now in my personal mod the Achron is now equipped with an infantry killing machine gun to counter antitank infantry. #Fadeing color

Cons:
Same as before but now the Achron costs 200$ more Very Happy

**I made a mistake earlier and said that it ws Yuri06 who commented on the barrel, it ws Denmon Confused
