Orca for CnC 3
Hi. I've made my own Orca for CnC 3, which i will release for the public, when I'm done. I have to say that I'm quite happy with the overall design, and thanks to Clazzy is now bigger and fixed from an older crappy version i made.
I am however, having difficulty. This is my first voxel that I've ever tried to finish, and I have a few problems.
When in game, the colors are all screwey, even though my paint job is a load of crap anyway, its still screwed up ingame.
Also, it does not land exactly where I want it to land. Lands quite close, but no.
Anyway, if you're a good souled voxeler, and would like to help me finish this, please PM or email me.
When it is released, all credit which is due to those who help will obviously be given.
Besides a full err, shell of texture, I have fixed the pink grey, and added normals, both with the help of Clazzy (yes, I'm that stupid with the normals), only one thing remains. It still doesnt land right. Could it be because the canvas is not scaled down to size? If it is, then these are the fixes that i need done for the canvas.
I need 5 layers to be removed from each side of the voxel. like this
.....[voxel].....
Next, I need 3 layers removed from the back of the voxel, like this
...[back][center][front]
Last, i need 14 layers removed from the bottom and top of the voxel. like this.
Will update with screenies asap. (of it and it not landing right)
I'm currently having an extremely qualified texture artist by the name on Venompawz texture it for me. If you've ever played the Red Alert mod, A Path Beyond, for Renegade, well here's your voxel artist. Venompawz.
EDIT: Also, I'm using the Orca Bomber HVA.

The Orca not landing right on the ground (it should be a bit northeast of where it is now, and on the ground)
take a 360 animation in OS Voxel Viewer or OS HVA Builder cause the back part of the tail just doesn't seem right, and it's tough to tell ingame if it is or not. also, you make the remap a bit more visible, and if you post a pic, use .png format next itme, jpegs burn the eyes. the normals do look good though, i just can't tell if the rest of it is right. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

Fixes
Hello. Made some fixes to it last night. It lands perfectly now, it just doesn't land right on the Helipad, seeing as it doesn't fit well for it. Don't have any pics or a 3d viewer yet, seeing as Idk how to make a 3d view thing.
Anyway, I'm requesting a new Helipad for the Orca. it still basically lands like the picture i had before, just a bit better. All coordinates are fixed, still awaiting a paint job. Should be done pretty soon anyway. QUICK_EDIT
make the ocra a mucky yellow because in TS must real dark yellows and browns look about ok and your using yellow that where ment for buildings try another. _________________ Link to a document to see what mods i have and/or working on or working with

Lol. I know the color is very bright, and I'm planning on changing it, but just remember that I'm not texturing it. I don't think Venompawz is either, but I know someone else. QUICK_EDIT
