The idea is to make a large cloud as a shp infintry with a good shadow, and make it civ. them make it move from on side of the map to the otter side of the map. This do need some basic triggers in FA2YR, but wil it work?? and a thing that might be a problem, give it a higt, and make it stay there, clifs or no clifs.

If it works, we can also have birds! LoL!!

This might be a ginius idea, or a waste of time. Give me some awnsers.

EDIT: This might just be posted wrong, can anyone move it to reaserch senter??

I think the question is, "Do you want clouds in RA2?"

Do you really want to loiter the game with white fluffy blobs? It would be abit hard to see whats happening, even with a low opacity. :/

You mean LargeVisceroid=yes or SmallVisceroid=yes. However, I also fail to see the usefulness of having your view Obscured By Clouds.

Even if it was LargeVisceroid=yes or SmallVisceroid=yes then it would just float around randomly and clouds tend to go more in one certain direction.

So, it works, but it might not be useful? Half of the idea is to hide troops under the cloud. And about that (small/large)viceriod=yes, that will make it go in anny dikection, right? So to make it work realistik, it eed triggers? And one more thing, about that hight, how do you make it ignor higt differens?
Thanks fore your opinions! Very Happy

visceroid tags are for [vehicletypes] only although fraidycat=yes/fearless=yes together or RP IsCow=yes will achieve the same effect but to be honest, only humans would be unable to see units under the cloud and its kind of pointless as well.

hmm, yeah.. But still, it would be some what cool if a cloud come from nothin. it'll maby make the game a bit more realitic. just make it transparent. Then it will be working. Thanks for your opinions, I'll have that in mind:D
Thanks Laughing

as far as 1 or two weather storm clouds floating about in game, that would look kinda wierd, my idea is that used by the old Iron storm game on sega saturn in which big flat cloud like shp's would float across the whole screen (regardless of where u moved the view to sorta like rain in diablo 2), sometimes dense and sometimes not, it was never frequent at all though, unless u went ahead after receiving warning of heavy cloud cover before u picked desired battle location it was kinda neat
