I'm not working on D-Day, its an RA2 mod run beautifully by Mig-Eater and several others.

Absolutely stunning work their, Mig-Eater.. makes my TibOd GDI Sidebar look like peanuts.. :S

quite frankly to be honest most of the cameos I dont like. I especially hate the IS-7 cameo as Mig used the IS-7 model to produce that cameo and not legion.wplus.net for the IS-7 true pics. I mean mig isn't perfect and its time for mig to understand that even his work has flaws (no matter how godly it appears).

You know what Universal, you are too picky. Mig is a perfectionalist, and it seems unless it looks JUST how you want it you won't be totally satisfied 0_o

Im surprised you're not moaning that the cameo is 1 pixel too far to the left or the grey is too greyish.

Please give constructive critisism or just go away.

you should take in account that im a isometry-fan, and that most modern "RTS"es arent completely RTS. of course, thats for the better, but RTSes are as good as gone.

I dont think we're still feuding on the same level as originally. I will give it up but only if you promise to not be a turd towards me.

In terms of cameos most of them are good mig but I really dislike the IS-4 and IS-7 cameo.

I would use this website for the cameos of the IS-7 and the IS-4 (its also got lots of other cameos for the T-10, IS-6, IS-5, IS-8 etc...)

Im just reitterating what's said. Its a beautiful sidebar, lovely graphics, and lots of units(balancing must be a bitch...).

But Im really irking to see a working base.(not that these units arent delicious as it is.)

The base buildings are still a WIP & I’m not happy enough with them yet to post any pics. As for unit balancing, D-day is spilt into five sections (pre, early, mid, late & post war) each having it’s own unit list available only in that section. In that screenshot tho I had units from all five time frames available, so in the final version there will only be about a quarter (still have a few to add) of the units you see, so balancing wont be that hard.

the competetion is superior i.e. landship and d-day

i would also like to reilleterate that universal i.e. yotta got banned from revora for stealing hadyns fighter aircraft voxel and claiming it to be his own when all that universal has released is untextured blocks

also the cameos have been pointed out already. the way u said imply nothing was good about the pic

the mod is the result of years of hard work and patience.

he is getting praise for that.

any of your work that u have shown universal (i.e. the silver tube and the voxel competetion too poor to enter entry) begger believe.

I love how he assumes that since the cameo for the IS-7 didn't come the specific site he found, it must be an original and unworthy scratch creation. Even a 5 second google search reveals it has a fairly good looking base, albeit a tad of a poorly contrasted conversion.

I don't really get why of all the things to nit-pick about one would choose a 60x48 pixel minor detail, especially when one has some of the worst avatars ever designed on the cameo concept. I mean, good God, what the ztype even is that? A blurry little meschersmitt and some kind of naval vessel in a wonderous array of two different greys?

Oh and I never stole Haydns voxel its just that you idiots thought I tried to claim it as my work. Oh and I never cancelled any of my mods just my ww2 mod. Im concentrating on my modern warfare mod. Yep that is correct and more information on it on www.landships.freeservers.com and these voxels are so good that I have no chance of competing with my ww1 mod so Im officially cancelling it for now to focus on my modern warfare mod and my ww2 mod is cancelled indefinitely now because i cant compete with mig

The soviet sidebar is the only one finished atm, the other sides are using the old generic sidebar that I was going to use for all of them (you know this is actually the forth sidebar I’ve done, the other three being generic ones tho)

I’ll probably make the Axis one next BTW, I’m working on sprucing up the tiger & panther vxls atm so kinda in an Axis mood #Tongue

I kind of like that idea...Authentic Cryllic, German, Japanese, and Italian for each respective team's cameos, im actually digging it. Maybe Romanized Cryllic and Romanji Japanese though for the minority who dont understand Japanese/Cryllic characters.(ESPECIALLY the Japanese stuff.)

The you wouldn't be able to understand them and nobody would know what tank was what short of the hardcore tank enthusiasts.

The only reason I used Russian words in the sidebar was that I thought most ppl would know what button does what by now so it wouldn’t mater. As for the cameos tho unless you can tell every WW2 tank apart just from a 60x48 pixel image you’re gona need the names in English.

but what if you code the string files in english so that the cameo text is in another language but when they hover over the cameo then they can then tell what tank or unit it will be(english names in the string file).

I take it the different time zones will be reflected in the maps available for that period, i.e. towns and villages will still be standing earlier into the war than later into the war?
