Disappearing INI file cwc
I dlded the CWC mod and it has a INI file "OcwcDataZH.big" that appears in the data folder only when the game is initiated, I copied it out of the folder and tried opening in Finalbig, the folders w\ unit specs were empty, you have to have the game "running" then the data appears in the INI file itself...
Once you quit the game, the INI file itself, simply disappears, does anyone know why this is happening ? I read the files weren't "locked" but it seems this one is some how, as if they made it unalterable, but even the creators of ZH and the whole C&C series made the INI's editable ...
I jus wanted to edit specs on my units, structures, that kind of thing.. Thanks for any help! QUICK_EDIT

run the game, use alt+tab, copy the text in the ini, paste it in a txt file, exit the game. _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT
ChielScape, I was able to copy the whole .INI file itself out of the directory while running the game, was able to edit it, however, after trying to replace the original (as it pops up only when the game is run) is what causes a problem.
Simply copying text from any given .INI file such as units etc, sure I could copy that text, alter it but its kinda hard to get that "new" text file back into the main .INI file .. : \
I wanted to add more health etc to my units but again, ingame, the result of all my editing is void, either w\ an error message or w\ no change at all to the units ..., hence the dilema .. QUICK_EDIT
Becouse now u look this mod, the orginals inis come.
Btw if u try too change the inis when u copy the mods inis is will not work.
Becouse now u run the game again the mod will rewrite over the inis in that folder and change them back later. _________________ Can you hide from me ? QUICK_EDIT
