Quick news roundup!
Subject description: Covering 30/10/2006
I have a test tomorrow and, as usual, I remember to do anything when I want start studying for it, including post a quick community news. Fortunatelly, I'm being one of those nerds who sit close to the teacher and participates in the class, afterall, I'm there to learn, otherwise it doesn't make sense to go to the uni. And that helps me a lot, reducing the time that I need to study the subject to understand it.
I'll post few things in this time, but all of them are very interesting.
-> GameReplays and ClanWars are organizing the C&C Generals World Series, with the sponsorship of EA, ZBoard and Timeline. The tournament is for C&C Generals (not ZH) with Aceton. Players will not be able to choose factions, to avoid mass use of China. The prizes are attractive, from keyboards, reaper gaming mice, a German TFD and a Generals art poster signed by... EA APOC? Was he rescued? At least, that's what they say... maybe they meant Predator and missed the target.
-> Red Alert: A Path Beyond has some news on their site. First of all, their official game server has returned after being down for few days, for updates. They also confirm that the next version of the mod will have even more new maps than what was originally expected. And, finally, they are hiring beta testers. For full info, head to A Path Beyond site, just remember that their big news with this info was posted on october 26th, before the server go down for updates and return today.
