I've now well understood how to add new graphics but I'm not sure I'm doing it the simpliest way.
For instance, I've created a casern, using the subteranean dwelling shp([CA0008]) and a cameo of my own. I've extracted isosnow.mix, conquer.mix and isotemp.mix with xccmixer then I've add my files (a copy of both subtarenean dwelling snow and temp and the cameo I made) in the right mix files and finaly recompacted them with xccmixeditor in the tibsun.mix.
It works well but it's quite long just to add a cameo to a building.(I guess).
My questions are :
-when it isn't necessary to clone an element when you want to modify it ?
-is this necessary to insert all modification of mix files in tibsun mix or it is possible to put external file in the game folder ? (because if one day I'm to send my mod to somebody it'll be not practical to send the whole tisun.mix file)
-Is that normal that I needed to extract the mixes tha tare in tibsun.mix with xccmixer , then edit them with mixeditor and recompact the whole thing with mixeditor?
and also, am I right to use the xcc tools or there are better ones ?

Thanks, if you had the patience to read the whole thing. Wink

heh, you HAVE to put all your resources in mix files.
however, there is no need to put them in tibsun.mix.

ever noticed the ecache and expand mix files ?

simply try using xcc mixer to make new mix files by the name of ecache05 , and expand05.

try putting your resources in there.

also, all voxels go into expand*and several other types of files*.
shps and sounds go into the ecaches.

this makes modding a lot easier, if you have any problem, do say so.
