I've made an shp with remap on it (I mean, I think I brushed remap) with shp builder, and written remapable=yes in the correspondent section of the art.ini but it doesn't apears with the color of the player ingame.
What have I forget ?? If nothing, tell me how exactely I'm supposed to draw remap in shp builder.

The remap colors are the red shades on the left in the unittem and unitsno palette.

you can also put in art.ini under the infantry entry
Code:
Remapable=no

... You have eyes right? Those little squishy balls in your head you can move around to observe the outside world Laughing

Don't just look at the title of a topic, he wants to know why things are not remappable and how to give them remap.

The building I'm editing depend on the isosnow palette. The remap section of the palette is still the collumn on the down left corner (true ?). But maybe it's the use of this palette that screws the thing up ??

there are some shades of red that are not remapable. particularly some of the darker tones. plus some that are separate from the rest of the tones. I dont recall their index numbers but its only a couple shades, palshift to hunt them down.

There is a reason that the isosnow palette exists. It's for the terrain, the trees, the explosion decals, and a few other misc objects (crates).

That palette DOES NOT have remap. End of story.

There is. You just need to code it like a regular base (player) building that uses unitsno palette.

Ive just got one question for all these nubbly questions (even if they are genuine).

Do these seem like something Reborn23 or Christian93 would say? Im inclined to say yes.

So therefore I ask you Bonzy-Buddy (real clever name, naming it after a SPYWARE program applicator) are you Reborn23? If yes just say so and let the matter come to pass. If no then you have 3 topics and 10 posts to prove otherwise.

erm I'm not he guy you mention and don't know them.
I admit I'm a total noob and my questions are likely to be kinda stupid, I know that, but I don't ask every ones that pass through my brain. I try to find out by myself answers to half of them. Afterall, if it bores you, you can just skip my topics and I don't think I polluting the frum that much as there are not too much post a day.
My nickname is nearly the same as the spyware thing. The purple monkey got an i instead of a y.

Asking these kind of questions is what this forum is for.

I hadn't spotted the tag that tells to use the isotemp/snow palette Confused ...
well removing this tag ans converting the shp into the classic palette will do.
