Here's something any rebel, warlord and rag-tag group would consider a prized possession: the good old M270 'shoot-and-scoot' MLRS (hailed 'The Iron/Steel Rain' by Iraqi forces way before the 2nd tibwar).

Overview:
Name:M270 Multi Launched Rocket System
Original Manufacturer/Contractor:Lockheed Martin Vought Systems
Present Restorer:IVI
Powerplant:(IVI upgraded/restored: small grade Shihua micro cold fusion reactor which generates 1600 hp)
Armament: (all are manually reloaded) old M26A2 ER free-flight rockets, old XM30 Guided Rockets and other old ATACMS. Also, some sport new IVI SHRIKE missiles whose systems (such as the IVI MRP-LRRS3) were based on the M270 MLRS.
Top Speeds: 80mph on-road

Artillery is scarce among small faction conflicts. having even an old 155mm howitzer is already a big advantage. Some small factions even reserve their IVI light tanks not for infantry support or line breaching but as field artillery: using the unsuited 75mm APFSDS mass drivers for bombardment. as was stated before, the Secessionist rebels situated near eastern Asia hit the jackpot with a South Korean base. In it were old derelict war machines such as several Humvees, a few Abrams and a handful of M270s. The most prized of these were the M270s who even though ammo was scarce, still posed dreadfully powerful firesupport/siege capability (after IVI restored, fixed and upgraded their systems).

Gotta love your style.

But why don't you also create stuff for RA2?

sure, I'll get an in-game but I'm not supposed to use the PC for playing right now. If I get to it secretly I'll post some screenies Very Happy

@ others: really? no one makes TS voxels anymore? if that is so, then that's kind of sad; I really like TS. most mods I've seen here are TS-derivatives. If I had started to mod RA2 before TS then I would be making RA2 models right now instead of TS #Tongue. I don't have RA2 right now and it's hard to buy one. But I'll try to nonetheless Smile

ooops.. In case you didn't see it right away, I made a mistake: the original rocket pod was too squarish and short; its length was almost the same as its width. I corrected that and made a more accurate rocket pod Smile

it's an edited HL sprite converted and recolored to a TS shp.. I posted that in SHP section in case anyone's interested Smile
