as the title says, has anyone worked out why TS freezes sometimes on loadup? i was playing with ETS last night and it keept happening... i had it sometimes before, but it always went away after a hour or so... erg dam thing.

how many .mpr based maps do you have your directory?

also, I've noticed that the animation when the FS sphere attachs to the large circle and all buttons appear, is missing. When I select Firestorm, it just doesn't appear, and it goes directly to the main menu Neutral

Its probably to do with .mpr files in your SUN.dir (like ORCACommander mentioned)

Unlike RA2, TS slows down at startup in relation to how many .mpr files you have in the SUN.dir

Unless the ETS is different in someway (buggy).... however I doubt it and cannot comment on this as i have not tried the ETS

Remember you can use pkt files along with .map files (they also work outside mix files) Smile

I just used XCC mixer and put all my maps into a mix file. Loads up nice and fast ^_^
