Ok, so, there I was, opening XCC Mixer to explore Tiberian Sun mix files. After opening TIBSUN.mix, I discovered, that something creepy, somekind of monster had eaten my Tiberian Sun palletes! I need help to find the lost palletes!

In the picture, I have opened the Cache mix inside Tibsun mix, so the palletes themselves are not vanished. Why doesn't the Mixer read the palletes anymore? It was fine few days ago, and I haven't done/add anything!

I even restarted XCC Mixer and re-installed it.

Check if the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Westwood/Tiberian Sun/InstallPath exists and is correct. XCC uses that to determine the path to the TS palletes.

No such thing is found, where is it exactly supposed to be in? sorry, but I didn't quite understand :S

EDIT: wow...now FinalSun complains it can't find TIBSUN.mix, even though it exists. The problem is in Tiberian Sun itself, then, but re-installing doesn't help, I already tried that.

whenever I see HKEY I think that can only mean one thing: registry. maybe the problem is in the registry Yuri06, your TS registry entry might be messed up or changed by some program or another. Idea

the only thing I remember doing was that I deleted the ETS exe (just for modding purposes) I had downloaded, and used "modify" to re-install (I have TFD) Tiberian Sun original exe file. Could this have affected the game somehow?

Oh yes sorry, i forgot to mention that it should be in the registry. (Start->run->regedit) :p And if reinstalling doesnt help it seems to me like that regkey is just wrong.

oh, so it's as simple as that?

It works! thank god...erm...DJ Freestyler and IVI! Smile The file InstallPath was there, but it had a stupid error, it was missing "(tm)" from the back of the "Command & Conquer" Rolling Eyes
