Kangaroos

Other than C&C, Kangaroos are my great passion. Lately I've been researching on adopting/buying/getting one. Not alot of information has popped up. I found one site where there are breeders in Texas selling Roos for a thousand bucks a shot. If anyone has any information on Kangaroos please tell me.

I found one site where there are breeders in Texas selling Roos for a thousand bucks a shot, but my mum saw what I was looking at and got scared and said youre moving with your aunte and uncle in bel-air. I whistled for a cab and when it came near the licensplate said fresh and had a dice in the mirror ,if anything I could say that this cab was rare but I thought now forget it, yo home to bel-air. I pulled up to a house about seven or eight and I yelled to the cabby yo, home smell you later, looked at my kingdom I was finally there to settle my throne as the prince of bel-air.

well... kangaroos generally, wel err.... hop around and stuff. be carefull witht them, they can be especially agressive when they have kids.

I've researched Wiki and several other sites. They generally just give facts about Roos. Other than the Texas breeder, all I got was "if you hit a mother kangaroo with your car, you can keep the joey". That's pretty sad. My search continues...

Well the closest you can get to keeping a roo is at YR.Argentina, thanks to clazzy for making it.

Check regulations in your state or area laws if they allow for exotic pets...pretty much if you dont live in a rural area, a you would be better off with C&C instead.

Anyways I might have to gt a wallaby instead, they are basically little kangaroos (although I personally want an eastern grey). Everywhere I read it says they make great pets, they allow you to use a leash, they can be paper trained, and they like to cuddle! The only thing I can't find is where to get one! (other than Texas)

your best bet is to look in the classifieds for a breeder thats around your area. and the ordinances or laws dealing with exotic animals.
plus not all veterinary clinics will be able to help you.

I just recently moved to Aus and you can keep them if you want as long as they are rescued, but at a certain age you have to return them to the wild, from what I know I'm not too sure.

Kangaroo's are not like big rabbits btw they grow to be very large and could seriously do damage if they kicked you, they have large claws.
