what game are you looking forward to playing on 07?
well,its the day before new years eve,and the games of 06 are about to be caned or boxed.well,the crapiest anyways.
i made this topic to see what games you guys are looking forward to playing in 07.
well for me,im looknig forward to the next gen games coming out like that heavenly sorrows(i think thats the name)for ps3 and Halo 3(woooot!).
and of course,all of you are looking into C&C3 right?

Universal, I never got addicted to that game, and I didn't play it more than 6 hours a day (on a few occasions I did, but that was a few times). People that play RPGs or shooters or RTS or anything else spend that much time as well. People keep saying that MMO players don't have a life, but MMO players sometimes spend their time playing MMOs, just like others play other game types. And addictions can be caused by any game. I can't wait for Devil May Cry 4 comes out it is going to be so awesome. I love games that combine magic and technology to achieve a synergy that is unstoppable.
Definately waiting on Resident Evil 5 because the dead walking is just freaking awesome. I mean who doesn't like shooting hundreds of zombies just to survive.
Command and Conquer 3 should pwn in my opinion. They have started to rid themselves of the iniquities of Mech opting for highly advanced androids, power suits, and support Mechs (Which is the only role that mechs should play anyway). Despite the decrying of so called MIT Tiberium, I think that it is finally allowing Tiberium to flourish.

personally i'm quite disgusted with the state of PC gaming. i'm only perhaps interested in:
Crysis
Unreal Tournament 2007
Bio Shock
but Crysis pisses me off because i'm sure it has the same aiming system as FarCry which means it will increase the bullet spread randomization if you move, forcing you to have to fight like a stupid noob.
UT2007 pisses me off because UT games are totally storyless. those games are only engine demos.
Bio Shock pisses me off coz it seems they spent almost all their concept art budget on the environment leaving almost none for the enemies and the enemies look quite cartoony. also you move so goddamn slowly and this is seriously gonna frustrate me because i like to explore every inch of every area to make sure i've not left anything behind.
i think i'm actually more interested in console games but i've been boycotting game consoles for several years because i'm morally opposed to them making games console exclusive despite not having the most powerful hardware.
btw the HUD for Vista Halo2 is the most ugly stupid thing i have ever seen. they can go to hell. i can't believe they think they can pressure people into buying Vista with such crap graphics. QUICK_EDIT

It has a story, but a weird one. Try playing Unreal and Unreal 2. Both unlock some stuff related to the story. The story from what I see is actually just living in the future, without too much knowledge of the past. UT2004 shows some stuff in the assault mode (AS-Mothership especially). QUICK_EDIT
