i got bored agin had some spare time so i made the chrono crusier it took me a lil time on deciding on how it should look but i finished it and i must say it looks pretty good in game and fun to use to

It's cool! I simply love the way it looks clean and simple in game! The only thing is, do you have a cameo?!?! BTW, I do like that little orca ray, post a VV-screene of it! Very Happy

Chrono cruiser? Whatever...

The vxl needs to be a little sharper and needs more darker look to match the other Allied vessels. Othervise it's pretty good.

Looks good, but as Gosho says, needs more work to make it Allied in theme, and it could use with some more detailling, but the design is good.

And its weapon is based on one of the Chrono Tank concepts, which is actually a nice recreation here, I think.

lol ok thanks for the complements and the insites weapon wise i made a new attack i just called it chrono has 6 range and chronoE Range 7 they are lasers that are a tinted blue and in the color sceam it is as close to allied colors as it is going to get look at the agis and then look at the chrono crusier very close and in the case of detail curious what would you recomend look at the HVA pic were do you see room to add more detail keep in mind this is a small vxl it's not as big as a air craft carrier or a dred launcher ok well any way new vxls still on the way my gattling ship is almost done lol it looks a lil funny but i'll give you a hind of looks narrow and wooden deck ha ha not much to go on lol ok just wait and see i'll be done soon and i'll post more pics if the orca ray with the Gattling ship

When you use voxel viewer, uncheck draw sky and draw ground to make the background a simple blue. Then use the magic eraser to delete the blue and paste the pic over a background from google images and under that shine layer I gave you. Fiddle with the contrast and colour and saturation, and put it in the ra2referance.pcx for palette correction. Very Happy

Mice, yours is too dark for the Allies, looks more like something Yuri would have. Nice work there Xeno, the sky should be blue-er so some form of glass effect will be seen on it though. Hemlig, yours looks weird, like some shiny pokemon card. #Tongue

Ok i've now edited the both the cameos i did, now it has a bluer sky and slight water effect. Maybe not as "realistic" as Mice16's but the 2nd is pretty close to the angle WW used on their ship cameos. And the 1st now has bluer water #Tongue

Ok Gosho, YOU try and make a "blue" sky useing the RA2 pallet that isn't blocky. Thats why i tend to lean towards a slightly grey sky since the pallet allows for that.

With blue things are very limited, unless its more of a Aqua/marine blue like Mice16 used.

To be honest Mice16 i liked your previous attempt better, the ship looked ace and the water was pretty good.

In this new one it looks too bright and pixelated. imo Wink

Well... Maybe, xeno. But that new one was created alongside the destroyer and transport cameos for consistancy. You'll find that it fits in a little more.

the voxel looks very good, and i agree with everyone else on the improvements that need to be made. it's nice to see how clean it is ingame and the normals are very pretty too.

as for the cameo, just do everything in photohop - text, background, edit the ship or whatever, and then just save it as a pcx because you can use that format for shps as well.
